Procurement Policy
Staff or Board purchasing supplies will get approval from the Board and use the credit card if applicable. All purchases will accompany a purchase request form, filled out with appropriate information and receipt attached. All will be given to the treasurer to insure prompt payment.

Should the maximum amount need to be adjusted, that will happen each year in June along with all other yearly resolutions and planning. Oneida will multiply the amount for the immediately preceding year by the percentage by which the average consumer price index for all items for the 12 months ending on August 31 of the immediately preceding year and adding that product to the maximum amount that applied in the immediately preceding year, rounding to the nearest whole dollar. The district retains the ability to give preference to a local or Michigan based entity should that ever arise.
Oneida District #3 may acquire by purchase, lease, or rental, with or without option to purchase, equipment necessary for the operation of the school program, including, but not limited to, heating or water heating and may pay for the equipment from operating funds of the district.
